I'm sure the answer is out there in black and white, but I can't find it. I've read through the rules/regulations I can find and the answer still isn't clear to me so hoping there might be someone here that's crossed this path. Frozen Spare Tire Latch
@EVnewb , mine was the same way and didnāt want to latch closed again. Once it warmed up in the garage though it did end up working normal. However thereās a lot of play in the release lever now, havenāt even tried to open it againā¦- NooterIA

Lubed tonneaus - is yours still working?
I lubed day one and each time I washed it, all but I think two of the panels are now sitting on my garage shelfā¦. But, I did make my own cover that slides into the rails for now. Canāt wait for 2.0.- NooterIA

Just finished my go with 1x 4x8 sheet of HPDE from Menards and four aluminum braces for sag support. I had to cut extender strips for each side and just used rivets to attach those to the center piece. Then used self tappers to go into the 4ā aluminum bars that run across it. One coat of... -

I had mobile support here last week and I had the "tocking" and lots of it. I don't know exactly what the tech did but the "tocking" is completely gone as of now. I stopped by Menards today to look at the HDPE panels and they'd no doubt work for this. I'd probably just do 3x panels with maybe weather stripping between each panel. I was moments from buying it and the thought crossed my mind, this truck cost more than my first house and here I am trying... -

a working tonneau cover is #1 on my list and itās not even close. The clock on the drivers display is a comfortable #2. I donāt use a lot of the fancy software features really. -

Love the creativity! The foam board is interesting, might look at that myself for highway efficiency sake. Sure hope Rivian themselves read this, $80k+ and weāre making our own tonneau covers out of wood and foamā¦.seriously -

Frozen Spare Tire Latch
So this weekend the Riv is sitting on a rim when I come out, caught a nail. No big deal right. Problem was, the spare tire latch and lid are froze. Took me forever to get it open by jumping on the lid to break ice/snow and eventually get it open but the latch to release the lid appears broke...- NooterIA

Looks good to me! Yep, I used outdoor acrylic paint from the hobby store. Fiesta yellow, itās pretty darn close in color. Iām a couple weeks in at this point and no peeling as of now. Did a few coats using the heat gun in between. Pics posted in another thread on here somewhere..- NooterIA

Low speed 'Tocking' when stopping or starting
I had the recall fix and my tock remains.. hearing at least three or four songs n every acceleration from stop and the same on stopping. Itās the same in sport, conserve and all purpose. Annoying!- NooterIA
