Going camping tonight. Would have been nice to have leveling mode. Really hoping it's available next week so I can actually test it out before our next trip. Might intentionally pick a bad site.

From the glimpse of hood at the end, it appears RJ has a GW R1T so I now feel validation that he knows what he's doing since he clearly has exceptional taste!

I'd just like to be able to buy the shirt he is wearing that just says "RIVIAN".

The display shows an R1S. Good taste either way. ;)

According to the Rivian software dude on Reddit, the next update is gonna start rolling out the 28th! So don’t have to wait too long

As a frequent, remote camper, this is an absolutely great, no-brainer addition! No more piling rocks ? And, the addition of noise and lighting controls is perfect!

I think the earlier pictures from when he took delivery of r1s were white. Pictures in system also show S

Yes I have Vehicles
The auto leveling is nice.

But there are so MANY other more important and High Frequency use gremlins out there to fix this just seems ridiculous. How about fixing the Phone as a Key or Allowing my Card to open up the truck without the 5+ second delay, a key FOB that works like a key FOB just for starters. Or upgrading GearGuard...ect.. These are things used by the masses multiple times a day. To me it just seems as if they aren't serious about providing a quality experience for features already in place.

I'm getting disgruntled with my R1T because of this type of misdirection. My streaming stopped working and I'm being told to wait for the update (which I haven't received yet). When I asked about the timeline for me or if they could force it, the answer was I'll get the update in the next 2 weeks to 2 months. My truck continues to have "phantom battery drain" but maybe I'll just have to put in "CAMP MODE" when parking it for the night.

Thank you very much Rivian.

When I have phantom battery drain I do a vehicle shut down and restart and usually it cures it at least for a day or two. Many times I can hear a small fan running under the hood in the front of the truck when she’s all shut down and locked up and I know it is draining before I even check my mileage, if you haven’t done so I’ll give it a try

Shoulda kept the Lightning I guess.

If you are having overnight drain issues and dont have the outlets on, do a reset. They have fixed my problems typically.

The auto-leveling issue is higher on my list than the annoying issues with phone as key. Also most of those seem to get better after a reset...

A few observations:
  • RJ's R1S appears to be Glacier White, but the display shows a darker R1S. Isn't it supposed to be matching?
  • It's 104F wherever he is at, and it sounds like his kids are in the back. I"m guessing the R1S seems to be doing a good job of keeping everyone cool.
  • Should there be that much streaking on the front wind shield?
Other than that, seems like Rivian is making pretty good progress on updates. Hopefully by the time I receive mine there will be a lot of standard features and all the issues will be worked out!
