Ocean Coast Interior is Shipping with Black Speaker Grills - Photos

Pictures over on Reddit show that OC has black speaker grills in the A pillar and not the White ones shown in the configurator. Essentially, it looks like the one from the video that RJ posted and everyone was complaining about.

Update:
Per this post the speaker grills are actual a "gun metal" color and not black.
There is still a bigger question of it not matching the configurator (which appears to be closer to the A pillar fabric color.

I don’t think the contrast looks bad. X7 has the opposite. Dark interior light grills (albeit silver).

A little disappointing, but not too surprised since it is what is in his video. That being said, the black speakers aren't what appears in the online configurator. I wonder if they will eventually match the headliner. The black speakers won't change me from OC, but I do prefer color matched. Does Forest Edge have match also or are those black?

I might be in the minority here, but it really doesn't bother me. I'll happily take it either way!
And I'm sure the aftermarket will come up with something eventually

its more than about aesthetics. its again another change which they didnt communicate about. in the end, most will probably be fine with the black speaker grills. the problem is we expected white and up till now have been shown they are white. like how do you miss that. you spent all that time updating us about the change to OC, why not include that detail at that time?

When you are flying down a great dirt trail, your truck's covered in dust and you have your favorite tunes playing - you won't remember what color the speaker grills are anymore.

If you don't like it, customize it.

I wouldn't customize it. Upon delivery, I would simply submit a service ticket stating that grills don't match the configurator and let them know that I expect them to be replaced with white ones when available.

Does Forest Edge have match also or are those black?

Took this photo awhile back for the cellphone mount but you can see the A-pillar speaker cover. Its not color-matched but it's not black. Wish they used these instead.
