"Displays now can't be accessed if gear guard alarm is triggered". Doesn't help in the use case of having gear guard disabled at home and the truck being parked in the driveway though.

Probably an error or assumption on my part but I thought that it was going to be more robust and include an audible alarm.

I’ll definitely take this step in the right direction but don’t have a ton of faith in gear guard being the determining factor in intruder access to screen functionality.

Isn’t Gear Guard Alarm an independent setting from Gear Guard? Or does Gear Guard Alarm follow the same location rules as Gear Guard?

I plan on fully recreating my alarm test once I get this update. If the screens stay off it will help SOME things but not everything.

Don't have my Rivian yet but glad to see they've fixed whatever interoperability issues existed with Liftmaster 8500W garage door openers.
