Just checked my account, and I now have a VehicleID assigned. Not sure of the actual implications of having that, but I'll take it as progress. No 8 steps or other changes that I can see.

Where are you seeing "VehicleID" in the code? I was able to find "SOFT_LOCKED" and "PENDING_FULFILLMENT" and various "id" numbers, but no place for "VehicleID." I don't even have a "VehicleID: null"

Edit:
P.S. I drove past the Denver service center yesterday. There were about 15-20 R1Ts awaiting delivery. There was one red one there matching my configuration, which made me even more antsy for any additional info I could decode from my account.

I just checked mine again, same thing! Still PENDING_FULFILLMENT, but now I have an ID. I assume this means a vehicle has been matched, but probably needs approval from the guide before they unlock the next step.

Mine is alongside the order snapshot data:

I emailed my guide after seeing a vehicle ID. Unfortunately it does not mean you have -been assigned a VIN. Still waiting on my March-April delivery....

Mine is in the same place as @OverZealous - right after "PENDING_FULFILLMENT". Strange that you don't have the same thing.

I now have a VehicleID too. Think it updated while I have been looking at it this morning, lol

Edit: Okay, actually it only appears when I have DevTools open when logging into my account. I was looking at the data that came when you click on the page for your R1T. It has some "Order Snapshot" in the user data, but "VehicleID" only appears for me when I get the user data when logging into my account.

Also, not sure the VehicleID has any real meaning, but I'm just looking for any news about delivery at this point!

As someone who signed their PBA on Monday April 25th I sure hope it’s just a couple weeks. Guide said yesterday truck was on the line.
So he already gave you your VIN? My guide seems to have no idea of the actual status of the truck or when I'll get a VIN. Signed the PBA last Wednesday.

Unfortunately not, they said I should get it any day now.

This is the sort of thing that confuses the heck out of me in regards to their communication... how can he know the truck is going through the line if it doesn't have a VIN? Why is my guide telling me he doesn't know anything UNTIL he gets a VIN?

How much do you want to bet that it's all on a spreadsheet somewhere and one person updates the sheet so that they don't mess it up by 'both being in the sheet' ?

I had a very promising guide intro call yesterday. Started off with some small talk and such, then we quickly got down to business. He went through my latest config and confirmed each detail, highlighting details that were critical. He asked if there were any trips for me upcoming or if there is anything that could impact my potential 4-6 week delivery window. He also asked if there were any config changes that I would consider if he was able to find something on his currently available list of trucks at the factory. He sent my PBA over while on the phone and I returned it before he we got off the phone and he confirmed I was off the pending PBA list. I am looking forward to the delivery process getting rolling! Sounds like I should make my window.

8 Steps unlocked and VIN assigned!
Email notification or just checking every 15min all day style notification? I am waiting to be officially assigned my VIN, Guide said he had the truck on his list and it should go through. I don't feel like logging in every 13min ?

I've been in meetings all day, so didn't have any chance to obsessively check my account every 10 minutes like normal today :)

I got an automated email from Rivian letting me know it was time to start the process.
