Nice! 217kw matches what the prior curve would do at 500A. Short of exceeding 500A on RAN we are seeing the max charging rate of the R1T. Looking at the SOC I'm guessing it'll right 200kw up to about 50%!

Wouldn't be surprising given the current fleet size, but this changes drastically once the fleet increases by orders of magnitude and possible build permutations. This is why there's so many ways to define an OTA campaign. You can even prioritize OTA rollouts which target a specific ECU only, perform a full or delta update, and build dependencies based on any number of other parameters.

Possible QA going to the employees first. Still a great list of updates that we know are coming.

I just did the force- reboot, which apparently takes quite a while. No offer of update or anything after that. sad.

Any more details on charge curve on 500amps???
Didn't see any additional information. Though if Rivian wants to get me my truck early, I'd be more than happy to test out the charging curve at my local EA charger :)

From time to time I like to remind folks that there is no "charging curve" but rather a family of curves and which one you get depends on the conditions at the time you charge.

Just checked mine. No update available. Not sure if there is a way to force it but I'm really disliking this staggered rollout stuff. Polestar is the same way.
Staggering your rollout is how you ensure you didn't miss a bug that is massively impactful to the entire fleet...

So an employee posted this picture and probably was told to take it down? I thought we were past this when customer started getting their trucks, I don’t quite understand the secrecy
Apparently Rivian has a hard time breaking habits like this :)

If it’s an employee post, posting his charging results, other customers will wonder why they aren’t getting the same, while Rivian is “testing” charging on employee vehicles.

If it was an employee on a pre-release build, I can absolutely understand why it would get taken down. Unless it's a public "beta", it's confidential until release.
