I didn’t, but I was told there were some that rolled off the factory line an hour earlier. But it sounded like that was somewhat of a new occurrence.

I’m thinking the same thing. I can’t believe we haven’t seen any factory pictures today - at least a glamour shot of someone posing with their new truck in front of the factory as they drive it away.

Over on Rivian Stories there is a report from an attendee who didn’t see any R1S vehicles but said that the goal for the quarter was 2550 which is significantly above the 1415 reported in early March. If achieved then the weekly run rate is well above 300.
I would assume on Monday R1S and R1Ts with colored interiors will start. Let’s see.

I’m thinking the same thing. I can’t believe we haven’t seen any factory pictures today - at least a glamour shot of someone posing with their new truck in front of the factory as they drive it away.

They don’t allow any pictures of the factory floor.

Why doesn't Rivian use an opportunity like this to expand its name/brand recognition? Telsa has done a nice job with the opening of their Brandenburg factory and will be doing the same with Austin.

I live close to the factory, have a common configuration, early preorder, but was not invited. My 1st guide contact was 3 weeks ago, still no PBA.

I was there and took delivery yesterday. It was very last minute and from what I hear they contacted a number of people and ultimately had to tell quite a few of them there wasn’t a truck available for them at the last moment.

I took delivery first thing in the morning, and after my guide and I left the factory to drive it around so he could show me the features, we returned to the plant for a quick photo. As he was taking the photo, someone came out and said that RJ had called an audible and they were going to do factory tours.

I obviously stayed for that. Very cool to get a look at where my truck was made, and see their facility. As we were finishing up, we saw a single white R1S at the end of the line, with a number of people inspecting it.

Overall, very cool day and experience, and the buzz in and around around the factory was awesome to witness.
