I am not trying to litigate this with you. I don’t have an opinion on whether it is or is not a warranty issue. I am very familiar with Teslas. I only came here to give you the procedures to fix it yourself, if you chose to.
Genuinely curious if this was a front belt or not. It would be helpful...
I am going to caveat this with saying that I know you’re frustrated and with good reason, and I agree that a notification should exist. Just be prepared for the manual to be cited, despite most people never reading it, myself included.
Also, give rivian a chance to do the nice thing and see...
Replacing the batteries is standard procedure when they are drained low enough, because there is the possibility they are damaged. In my experience they recover fine, but I understand why they prefer to not take a chance.
I’m not going to comment on whether it is okay or not okay to consider...

I haven't seen people reactive overly negatively here unless prodded by flame-y posts like this one. Also, what would you ask Rivian to change to make it better based on this criticism? Force everyone to buy 20" AT Mud+Snow rated tires?
I've openly criticized actual flaws in my vehicle and...
He wrote four sentences, so removing 2 is 50% of the sentences.
But also he came in reallllll hot with "Model Y hands down much better". I'm not sure what kind of reaction he was aiming for, but I think he got the one I would expect to see with such a broad, anecdotal, emotionally fueled...

The Model X arrived with two leaks, one that was obvious (bird wing door, drivers side) and one that wasn't (rear quarter window wasn't sealed). The leak in the door was annoying and took two tries to fix. The leak in the rear quarter window wasn't found until it rained enough...
