Replacing the batteries is standard procedure when they are drained low enough, because there is the possibility they are damaged. In my experience they recover fine, but I understand why they prefer to not take a chance. I’m not going to comment on whether it is okay or not okay to consider...

Been there. If you can get the front trunk open and hook a battery charger up to the battery or batteries (depending on whether it has one or two) you can recover. The key is to charge them up fully and then pull the HV cut loop (look it up), and then disconnect one or both 12v for 30 seconds...

There is a good bit of misinformation/conjecture abut the underbody shield being integral to pack structure and something that is bonded to the packs when they are built. This is false. The shield absolutely can be removed (and retrofitted to a pack without it). The hole locations are identical...

My 2020 Model X is the only EV I have ever regretted buying. Was happy I got a chance to sell it in 2021.

You don't have to wait. You just pull the ground and put it right back. Don't do it before your voltage is back up to a reasonable level is all.
