Feb 2019. Not that it seems to matter. Saw a late 2020 getting delivery already.

I logged in to my account. I have been checking the question mark (contact us) most of the time. But that is still the same. By chance I checked the config and that is locked now. There is a button now for guide contact but it takes me back to the normal question mark popup.

Pricing on my preorder just reverted back this afternoon to pre-March 1st amounts and my config is also now locked with “Contact Rivian Guide” shown on the config button! Let’s light this candle! ???

Hey All, got a wonderful call from my guide 3/26/22. The offer, if I can come out to Normal 3/31, they suspect they'll have a truck that meets my configuration and I can take delivery (aka pick up) early. I just happen to already be off work for Thursday, so I'm in. No factory tour but an event w/camp kitchen and food I guess. I can't complain!

But, to summarize, I really only officially have a guide. I have no VIN yet. Guide promises I'll know for sure by 3/30.

Super stoked, but trying to temper expectations until I have a VIN.

Also gotta admit, I've now been using all the apps plugshare, chargepoint, EvGo, etc to try to map my route home. I'll have to charge 1-2 times. Any tips?

Congrats! I would also look at a better route planner - lets you put in speed and temperature and vehicle to try to get a better accuracy as well as high speed chargers.

She has arrived…only issue is my steering wheel is off center a bit, ?‍ But crazy fun to drive!!

Eh…1/2 to 3/4 of an inch to the left maybe? At low speed it seems fine…Above 25 is when it’s off a bit…alignment is good…it’s just a quick fix I think. Ignore my white a$$ legs and the thumb I smashed working on my TSX. ?

Nice. Sound like Rivian wants to sell as many trucks as possible before end of quarter. Standard operating procedure for a new public company!

Oh that timing makes sense. We’ve been dawdling getting the cashiers check but received an email the truck was ready for pick up today. The guide called and insisted we pick up before the end of the month. I said we’d do it tomorrow and she said she’d call in the afternoon to make sure we did! (All nicely though, not pushy).

That was one of the reasons I chose "Launch Edition". Perhaps I misunderstood, but it was my impression that these were going to be the first off the line, limited edition, limited choices, first into the hands of the buyers...

But then there was a worldwide shortage of raw materials...

Absolutely. The reason you got bumped to the head of the line is that you were local to that truck and were willing to buy before the end of 3/31.

Whoo-hoo! My config just got locked. But no way to contact the guide yet.
I'm sure it's mentioned somewhere, but how long between config lock and guide assignment (or at least seeing their contact info)?

In any case just wanted to get some love back into the April/May group.

Mine did this yesterday and no Guide either. CS said no Guide assigned that they can see as well. Wonder if this is happening to everyone that's flipping back to old pricine?

We had the same issue with our new Model Y.

The service center performed a 4 wheel alignment to make the steering wheel dead straight.
