Perhaps this has been discussed in another thread, but does there appear to be any rhyme or reason to the order in which vehicles are being delivered? It doesn't appear to be by pre-order date at all, which is what I would have thought would have been the strongest determinant.

Appears completely random. Lots of people who ordered long after me, in my same city, have been contacted or taken delivery. It’s very frustrating.

Definitely willing to meet with you guys. I hope to have mine in less than a week. Guide said last he could see it was getting ready to get on train from normal. But I really wonder if that picture above is mine. Who knows. Either way. Should be soon now.

So, texted my guide about status of my Step 8....says a lot of vehicles at SCs are getting the big update. Guess that's stage 2 of the inspection process.

I doubt it is random. If I were to guess that later orders that are receiving deliveries are due to configuration.

For example I have a April-May and my truck is ready for delivery but its a common configuration (Rivian Blue with BM interior). I suspect that my ’truck’ was actually built for an earlier order that opted out and I am moving up the line ahead of others that have different configurations.

I guess not till my step 8 is unlocked. I haven't asked directly though. Did you get scheduled before step 8 opened?

That was one of the reasons I chose "Launch Edition". Perhaps I misunderstood, but it was my impression that these were going to be the first off the line, limited edition, limited choices, first into the hands of the buyers...

Yep. And if a 2018 LE order holder had a RB/BM truck configured and then declined to go through with it I assume they would just assign that truck to the next person on the list with that same configuration. That is what I am saying.
