That has been answered many times before. No HomeLink, no buttons on the mirror. There is an RF transmitter, but it is not enabled in the software right now.

On that note, how thick is the sun visor? Is it rigid or padded? Will a garage door remote clip on securely or is the visor too fat?

I must be in the minority of early adopters who love technology but still hate talking to my devices. I find it slightly creepy and I just haven’t had good experiences with it any time I’ve tried it With Carplay/ Google assistant (TV remotes, etc).

I generally agree with you, but since so much functionality no longer has physical knobs, stalks, switches, dials, etc, I'm going to try my best to get along with Alexa.

Thank you for answering my questions. I only asked about your inseam because it helps with determining proportions for a certain height. For example, I have a 36 inseam and am 6'5. My inseam makes me proportionally have longer legs and a shorter torso and so I would need more legroom than someone who has shorter legs and a longer torso at the same height.

Also, you mentioned you are 6'1 which is 4 inches (well above) the average height of a man in the US which the CDC lists as 5'9. Don't sell yourself short (that also makes you unofficially part of the mini-Sasquatch club).

When you buy a pair of pants, the inseam is usually printed on the label along with the waist size. You should probably know your inseam if you ever shop for pants again.

You mentioned your dad is 6'5. Any chance he's driving the R1T during your week with it? I'd love to hear whether he is comfortable driving it.

I'm testing a Polestar today with Android Automotive built in, and will be curious to see how well Google Assistant is integrated.

That is wise. Alexa is kinda like GOD, all knowing, all powerful and even if you don’t believe in her, she knows what you did and sooner or later, she will make you pay. So you may as well get along
