You guys are cruel…. No Rivian for you! ?“Ehh, on second thought we’ll just say this one was lost in transit. I’m going to keep it.”
This happened to me last week. The PBA came in Thursday evening with a price that was $13K higher than it should have been. Final 8 steps only partially worked - the Guide said that was because the PBA had not been signed, and that I could sign it and that would not lock me at that price - it will be the original price. I signed the PBA on Monday, and got to the Finance tab before an error, presumably because the pricing is still stuck at the inflated number. This is supposed to be fixed this week.Need some help, I just got the Preliminary Buyer's Agreement and it shows the wrong price (the increased price vs. the 'old"). Did anyone else have this happen? I have already reached out to my guide and left a message, but want to know from those who went through this, did you sign as is and let them fix it, or wait until they get it right. Thanks all
I just talked to my guide earlier with the same concern with all of the other pricing stuff going on. They mentioned that they have had some issues with that but they believe to have it fixed. I would just contact your guide and have them regenerate and see.Need some help, I just got the Preliminary Buyer's Agreement and it shows the wrong price (the increased price vs. the 'old"). I always think about bowling!Every time I read "PBA" my brain translates it to "Professional Bullriding Association"! ?
I think it's supposed to be "Preliminary Buyer's Agreement"; right?
Sorry. New to EVs and buying a pre-order car.
Worked like a charm. Thanks for the heads-up. Using Chat, as you did, I was told I had been assigned a Guide and would be contacted in a few days. I couldn't get a definite answer what a few days meant. However, I just got contacted with a scheduled call in the morning. I guess a few days means 2 hrs.?I reached out and via Chat this morning, and asked them where I stood. Got the vague, "guide contact coming soon" and I asked if they could let my guide know I called. 2 hours later I got the call...

Awesome, so glad this worked for you! Good to see more Guide contacts coming in as well.
My guide did follow up to say they need to fix the configurator price before they can resend my PBA (minus the bowling references)... Nothing yet, but she said it may take a few days as they have to rework all those that in the buying process....almost there, but she has been great on the follow up.
Thanks and thanks for the information. It's good to see this process finally moving along.Awesome, so glad this worked for you! Good to see more Guide contacts coming in as well.

Punched in the plate number during the 8-step process. Got a match. Just had to enter mileage and debate between "Fair" and "Good". The main reason we went with "Good" is because the description for Fair mentioned mechanical problems, which we don't have. We do have a fair bit of cosmetic issues, but nothing that's excessive for a 15-year old vehicle with 131k miles. Uploaded a picture of the title, and we were good to go. Guys today did a quick check, read the mileage, and drove away with it. Rivian bought it for $14,450. KBB suggested trade-in topped out around $12k and Carvana only offered about $10k.Once your truck gets here later today and you've had time to settle in, I'd love some comparisons as I'll be reluctantly giving up my baby (also an 07 FJ) for a Rivian. Also, mind sharing what kind of mileage, condition and trade-in value you're getting for it?
