Successful delivery today. Shoutout to the Tempe SC who are the absolute BEST.

Thanks. It is indeed. She barked when I rolled the window up, so it had to stay down the whole ride home. I was able to buckle her into the back seat area but give her some slack to enjoy the view from the rear.

It feels like a go-kart compared to the R1T. Quite nimble. So far only positive impressions. The R2 is a winner.

Awesome to hear! That's the biggest thing I noticed on the R2. I love the air suspension and all, but it really does feel soft and make a lot of clunky noises. The R2 suspension felt so much better. I DO use the air suspension constantly, but only because I'm weird - I park in off-road mode in hopes of avoiding door dings and then in auto when driving for efficiency on the freeway.

but my wife won't care about any of that nor would she ever touch the suspension modes so the R2 is perfect for her.

I get it. The air suspension is something I'll absolutely miss and won't miss at the same time. The camp leveling will be the biggest item I miss plus the extra ground clearance when I needed it.

That being said, it did make numerous clunky noises. Most were probably fine, but having driven many trucks in my life, the noises didn't inspire confidence.

The R2 definitely feels more planted and less floaty. Very poised and agile feeling. After tint and PPF in a week, it will be ready to go on a roadtrip for the true test.

Today was my delivery day!

Apologies if I'm just missing it, but there's no option for updating the form with a delivery date, correct?

5. Use the Change Request Form for any changes to your order info.

You just have to add your user name to match your previous entry and then update just the responses that need to change. So since you already entered a VIN, you can just answer the delivery date question and submit.

I took delivery of my LG R2 today and the car was perfect. It could be the most pristine car I have ever taken delivery of.

Big thing that stood out to me vs the demo cars are the seat, they seem more supple and way more comfortable. Rivian hit a home run with the R2.

It is on 2026.24.40.

Good call out on the seats. The production models have much more cushion and are very comfortable. I was worried after driving the demo back in June but it felt fantastic on the drive home today.

Mine was also on 2026.24.40.

Maybe I missed it elsewhere, but I’m curious about the demo vs production differences. I assumed they’d be the same. Any other known differences?

This is a great question: are demo R2s just first production allocated for demos or are there design differences between them?

Definitely a good question. I don't know for certain. But the demo had an extremely low VIN so I'm wondering if they made some subtle changes from those demo models with later post demo VINs.

I noticed the seats immediately when I drove home.
