Something was left open or on or something like the seatbelt plugged in or who knows but losing 65% in five days, I would check how many miles were driven.

WTF?
Read the other responses? Try putting your 3 on a transport and not have it in some kind of shipping mode.Which is still too much honestly. I can leave my model 3 parked for 2 weeks and not lose a single percent.
totally different situation. Throw your Tesla on a back of a trailer and see how it does. I've left my R1T at the airport for 2 weeks with gear guard on and have had only 7-9% battery drain over that time.Which is still too much honestly. I can leave my model 3 parked for 2 weeks and not lose a single percent.
It def will, but it just seems based on 4-5 years of empirical and annecdotal evidence that Tesla has this much better sorted than Rivian does.totally different situation. And a Tesla will have battery drain over a 2 week period. but that has been my experience.

Please explain how a vehicle in a stationary position, for # days, is the same as one on an other vehicle, being “bumped”, slightly moved, most likely frequently, and not hourly.Which is still too much honestly. I can leave my model 3 parked for 2 weeks and not lose a single percent.
What's the empiracal part?It def will, but it just seems based on 4-5 years of empirical and annecdotal evidence that Tesla has this much better sorted than Rivian does.
Easy to glance at the manual for an hour and not find some tidbit within the 476 pages. Why do people buy a new item, then proceed to do things without even glancing at the damn manual. Yet are so quick to post a negative comment.
Better than a slow boat to China.I'm putting my R1T on a ship from San Diego to Hawaii next week. I'm worried about battery as they require battery level toonly be between 20-50% when I drop off the truck.
I'm going to leave instructions about how to place truck in service mode when they put it on the ship...but I'm legit stressed
the actual trip only takes about a week. but I have to drop off the truck a week earlier so they can load the ship...so it'll be sitting somewhere for 2 weeks and I can't guarantee that the driver will put it in shipping mode or even knows how to shut off the truck.Better than a slow boat to China.
How many days will it take?
Not sure, but to give them a very detailed list of steps to take with screenshots.the actual trip only takes about a week. but I have to drop off the truck a week earlier so they can load the ship...so it'll be sitting somewhere for 2 weeks and I can't guarantee that the driver will put it in shipping mode or even knows how to shut off the truck.
any other tips on what I can do pre-dropoff?
