Seriously. The pickup silhouette looks like an R1T, although the SUV silhouette looks like a Range Rover.

Not knowing anything about the Scout brand previously.. is this going to be in the lux or midrange segment?

The Scout was an International Harvester product and more or less a work/sport vehicle, with a pretty basic cabin. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Scout

I suspect that VW will try to push the new version up-scale, to at least the "near luxury" segment, but it was not in that class before.

So it should compete with Rivian R1T and R1S directly then. ?

Just hope the Scout EV SUV doesn't look as non-rugged as the Jeep Wagoneer S EV.
