actually if the shit really hits the fan for rivian, amazon will cut its loss. if rivian can fail with 20 billion of cash, amazon can't save it. nobody can. a company like amazon is not run by amateurs. they know the definition of sunk cost and will not waste more money even if they own 20% of rivian.
