Been living in the shadows for a while, but checking in to share this: with the context that this information came from a CS chat, I think I've effectively delayed my order indefinitely.
I have a Dec 2021 Explore build that I've let go into "inactive" status as of Sept 1 by not configuring a...
The only manufacturer allowed to sell direct-to-consumer in PA is Tesla and only by an exception to current policy. There is a proposed restructure to the policy to include other EV manufacturers, but it seems to be sitting idle. Accordingly, Rivian has avoided putting a service center in PA...
Sorry not sorry.
Seems like the hold up with getting you a truck is you. You've waited 3+ years for the truck, they offer to put a mfer in it and drive it to your door and you're like "naw". Come on man.
And you're so slighted by the disorganized buying experience that you'll immediately...
I was left with the impression that Ford pretty much nailed it and the Lightning is an excellent EV truck for someone that just wants a truck. There's no arguing the Lightning has more utility and the R1T more performance. They strike me as both being fantastic options, depending on your...

It's not for me either, but I've never wanted...

If the former, best case scenario, you're going to end up with a replacement truck in relatively short order. With the latter, if you...
I feel you and sometimes it's good to get it out of the way early. Two anecdotes:
Buying my first brand new dirtbike, I dropped it in the bed of the truck while loading it at the dealership. I had only ridden the bike across the parking lot. I knew there were many more drops in that bike's...
Interestingly, literally none of the carwash locations in my locale have this conveyor system - you just pull in, sit there stationary while the machine does its thing, then pull out. I've experienced the conveyor travelling about, but there's nothing like it 'round here.
