Why doesn't Rivian badge the Quad?

Until the dual motor is delivered we don’t know wether they distinguish between the two with badging or not. Maybe the quad has a cleaner look and the dual motor gets a dual motor badge, you never know.

Well, duals will have better fitting panels.

I am guessing since the R1T was designed originally as.a quad and I don't believe there were plans for a dual, they never thought of a need to say quad.

Be like Volkswagen and do the R1T rear badge in red or something. I agree with other posters we don't need any more badges, but changing it would be nice. Either that or do the Dual motor R1T badges in a color other than yellow.

In the long run though I think they are going the can the quad setup and do the advanced dual motor (or whatever it's called)

I'm hoping that they do come up with something to differentiate between the four and the two motor version. I'd like to see something like the old Chevrolets that used to show the cubic inch displacement of the engine above the flags on the front fenders.

My Ocean Coast has the "black speakers" badge, so there are at least some proxies available for Quad.

If Porsche can distinguish their Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo from their Taycan 4 Cross Turismo with their rear badges then Rivian can definitely do an R1T and R1T Quad. All manufacturers do badges across their entire model lines.
