While I completely agree that there should be a manual release and dislike the push-button door latches; It's not much different than cars have been for years. If the child safety locks are engaged in the back seat with the little slider on standard doors, there's also no way to open them...
Happened to me once. Driving on highway and audio I was listening to over bluetooth from my phone started breaking up and then went completely out and both screens rebooted fully to logo restart.
Driving did not seem to be affected, but I was scared that it was bricking up right in the middle...

True, there are aspects that the OP should have planned for ahead of time, but fact is that EV's in general (not just R1) need better power storage management options - and that will come with time.
I don't mind the side cameras. I glance at them sometimes when they come on, but I am usually aware well in advance of what's coming up around me. It's not something I depend on for safety, but I do think that getting any additional visibility is a good thing.
I have taken my 22s on dirt and gravel roads with no issue.
I even did some ill-advised light "rock-crawling" and was lucky to not end up with damaged tires. I wouldn't do that again with the Pirellis, too risky.
