I was not too impressed with weathertech i got in my last tacoma. It had been shipped in the box folded and the crease never relaxed. I had a wear spot where my heel rests for the gas pedal.

I went with Rivian OEM this time and it looks like it will work out better. They shipped all flat in a huge box with no folding

I have tried weathertech, husky, smart liner, 3D, and TuxMat. In my experience I would put TuxMat far at number one, and 3D at number 2. I think that Smartliner might actually be my 3rd favorite for their typically expanded coverages over the others but so much further down the list on a scale I would try others first. Husky kind of botched their R1T release by having spikes on the door molding area… the fit was also sub par. My friend got those and had to grind or cut off the spikes. I waited for 3D and should be coming today. Wanted Tux Mat but no telling when Canada will get any units. Good luck all in your mat endeavors.

FYI - just picked up the weathertech floormats for R1S. Fits great, but no 2nd Row mats…does anyone have any good suggestions, as I haven’t found anything to buy online?

Does it use existing anchors/nub to secure? Or just drop in?

I asked them about rear it sounded like still in the R&D stage scanning etc

We're all weather floormat brothers.

I also put tuxmat at #1, 3d at #2, (never used smartliner), and weathertech kind of trailing in the back of the lot. Ever since I bought my first tuxmats, I've bought them for every car I own.

Right now I'm kind of digging the stock chilewich mats. They might end up being good enough for southern california. I might cave in and get the 3d mats, but the ocean coast chilewich looks sharp.

A little bummed they don't have the rear cargo mat yet. We have had weathertech for years in all of our vehicles and second only to the front mats are the rear cargo liner for when the third row is folded down. The kids are getting big enough and the cargo area here with the third row up is big enough that we might go with a cargo mat for the "short rear" area and not the one with the third row folded, but neither available now and those areas definitely take the most abuse with ski equipment, camping stuff, home depot runs, costco runs, luggage, and our labrador retriever

(all of this said, I just got my R1S confirmation email Friday so not exactly sitting in the driveway waiting)

Does anyone have more pictures/reviews on this? Been deciding between this and 3D Maxpider ...

Main concern is looks like Weathertech doesn't cover the dead pedal and is not tall enough? Also input on the frunk liner is appreciated too!

I'm also wondering about the front Weathertech mats and equally concerned about lack of dead pedal coverage. Seems like quite a few of the mats out there are lacking in this area.

I do have the SMARTLINER frunk mat and it works / fits great. They also got second row mats in stock recently and curious how those are.

Weathertech makes matts and liners. Matts are cheaper and just cover the floor. $100 or so. Liners are a heavier, stiffer material and have side walls that usually extend up an inch or two. They will hold water from melted ice/snow. More durable, perhaps less attractive. About $200 for floor liners. I have the floor liners. Best if you have snow in your area.
Weathertech matts and liners for S not yet available..but will order when they are as have had in all my SUVs and they are hard to beat.
