I have yet to really off-road the R1S, in part because I don't love the stock AT wheels. Even with some vinyl wrap to hide the "staples" they just don't quite sit right for me, so keeping them in perfect shape for a trade or sale.

In the mean time I will over examine/research. To that end I have thrown together a quick Google sheet for existing options. Linking here in case it helps someone, or if you have other options I should add.

I actually went in on the 1EV R80B at the early bird price, but backed out as I decided I didn't want to deal with beadlocks.

My current favorite look would be the SPP-1. Durability would go to the DECA/HD. Now just holding out for the big wheel makers to put something out that I don't mind thrashing. Or just wait for my Grenadier for the thrashing...

Following. Also a couple of notes:

I’ve read the stock 20s are $625 each from Rivian. Some have had luck getting them to sell wheels only to them, some have been turned away.

I wouldn’t consider those FR70 wheels myself as the load rating is a bit too low, at least for R1T. Not sure what the requirement is for the R1S? What’s your door sticker say for the highest GAWR?

You're in Long Beach, bring your Rivian down and I'll measure your brakes. I got something in the works

How easy is it to get the tires on for these? I have a bunch of manual tools but I don't typically use those on nice wheels. Mostly wondering if it's feasible to carry a spare tire and swap it trail side instead of a full wheel.

You could do these in your garage. Two guys and some lube to press it onto the wheel. Doable.

That's what I figured. The second side is the hard one and you're not pushing it over anything with bead locks. Thanks!

correct, the air pressure popped the second bead with ease. At least with BFG tires. Different tires may be tighter!
