Just thought it was amusing they have similar problems with 12V batteries.
Surprised only Tesla has a smaller LFP battery for this duty...

Odd/funny that Rivian was not mentioned in the article for having 12v battery issues as well.

This is just a hyped up "issue" lawsuit.. Everyone knows the EV 12V system runs essentially the whole vehicle while the main battery manages propulsion and recharging the 12V. Sure the 12V is being used and batteries fail, same as every other vehicle. There isn't 12V battery technology that doesn't fail in vehicles eventually, it's not an issue it's a fact of life.

I'd love to see a chart showing failure rates of 12V batteries in EV's, ICE, Boats, Motorcycles and Scooters for the past 40 years.

I've replaced many dozens of batteries before EV's existed in all our cars and every motorcycle I've owned. Some failed in 5 years some failed in 1 year. Everyone I've known during my lifetime has also replaced auto and motorcycle batteries. Where's the lawsuit for this conspiracy?

Well, in our case, the drama is caused by Rivian when they make it difficult to replace the 12v battery ourselves, and expansive if we go to a Rivian CS..
