Yup. I have similar issues with my '22 R1T, '23 R1T and '23 R1S. Brought them back to the SC for repair to no avail. Rivian went on an extensive and technical explanation each time I took it in, but failed each time to answer my question to my satisfactory. They claimed that the smart air suspension attempts to level itself out on uneven surfaces but I kept explaining to the technicians that even on level surfaces, it's not level from left to right and front to back, but to no avail each time. My '23 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve 4xe has a semi-active air suspension and my '24 Tesla Cyberbeast has an adaptive air suspension and they don't have this issues. After awhile, I just gave up. I tell everyone that ask me why my suspension is like that, I simply replied, "it's called a Rivian attitude". Like that time when my R1S was stuck in the Carolina SquatI know it’s been talked about on a previous thread, just curious if any new owners have experienced the right side suspension 1-2 inches lower than the left side. Just picked up an R1S Quad last night. Tnx!
. I just go with the flow
It is definitely a Rivian's air suspension thing (it's designed by the same guy that designed the air suspension for McLaren super cars; and seems to me that it didn't translate well to a EV truck or SUV ? ). Tried the Ram 1500 with air suspension; smooth and relatively quiet compared to my R1Ts. My Cyberbeast' adaptive air suspension rides equally if not better than the RamI've never been a fan of their air-suspension, even with the software updates. Way too jerky and doesn't ride bumps that well. I test drove an F-150 Lightening the other day and it was way smoother. A much nicer ride. Even the regular ICE F150 and RAM 1500 has better suspension.
I wish Rivian would option this out.

If you put it in self-levelling Camp Mode does it even out?I had the same issue with the front passenger side. it was a hydraulic leak and they fixed it. got back home and this time it was the driver side that was low. sometimes it is almost 1.5 inches different on both sides and only in the front... went back, was told it was within specs and it is supposed to be like that...
some days it is perfectly level, some days it is not. I am choosing to ignore it as it is driving me mad to think something is wrong and they are lazy to do a good job with it.
some days it is a Rivian, some days it is Vivian. just kind of waiting for other small things to pile up to open a service ticket.
I hate to say it but that's not efficient at all. They should have found the leak at your first service appointment. Did they say why they didn't find the leak the first time? It's nice that they picked up the car from your house. They don't do this in the US anymore.Just to update status on the suspension issue. But first I want to thank the Vancouver, Richmond Service centre for going way out of their way to help and resolve the issue with minimum disruption to the customer. Other car companies including some at the high end seem to be prehistoric in customer services.
It might not be the air suspension. Hopefully Rivian looked at the entire suspension when you took it in and not just the air suspension components. Another poster mentioned they had a hydraulic leak, not an air suspension leak, and that doesn’t surprise me. I had a GX 460 before my R1T and there were a lot of complaints on message boards about the car being lower on one side, which was attributed to the hydraulic KDSS system, not the rear air springs. My issues with both my R1T and R1S's front suspension is that they are never the same height. The driver side is always lower by as much as 1.5 inches and I can visually see the lean while inside the SUV as well as outside eye-balling the suspension. It's been like this from day one for both. R1S worse than R1T. I took them both back to Phoenix service center 440 miles away numerous times to no avail. Each time they say it's within spec and it's normal. Nope. I have driven many vehicles with air suspension and the are leveled from side to side.
