Suggestions for a SUP and inflatable kayak mount for Rivian crossbars?

A little off topic but I’ve seen some posts about roof damage complaints, yet couldn’t find anything conclusive… Is the glass roof particularly fragile?

There were a couple of people who put weight on the glass, with their elbows while loading stuff and the glass cracked. There's a thread somewhere and a YT video. I've loaded construction materials and other stuff on my gx470 rack numerous times. That abuse lead me not to buy the cross bars for the r1S. I'd likely break something dropping a rachet strap.
