What is the maximum height while being flipped? I am wondering if it can be flipped under my Flated topper without removing the extender or topper. It looks like it would be too tall/long.

You'd need to unpin and slide it out, not flip it up.

Okay, it's not recommended to try and stretch the included straps to the front. I would recommend using bungees instead: https://evsportline.com/collections...-for-rivian-r1t-truck-beds-l-track-ring-hooks

That said, I have never heard it 'bounce' around while driving either.

I had asked this on your YouTube channel but when you close the tailgate, is there a way to stop this from getting stolen?

I'll assume that's a no then? Old Nissan I had had this type of bed extender but when the tailgate was closed you couldn't steal it. I was hoping yours was the same way.
