Has to be a bad module bringing the total pack voltage down.

Fair point ... Pack has 9 modules. Seems really odd that there is no error thrown in the BMS.Has to be a bad module bringing the total pack voltage down.
We didn’t do the RIDE screen since service appointment is close and we will see what they find out. (And we are chicken!)
Discharge the battery to as low SOC as possible (anything below 5% will suffice), recharge to 100%, note how many kWh it takes to "fill" the battery. That one simple, free, home test will tell you all you need to know.
Here’s a screenshot from one charge on our trip. Gives a good idea of battery capacity but from 10% to 92% fill . 62 kw added. So we estimate from this 75 kw battery capacity.Discharge the battery to as low SOC as possible (anything below 5% will suffice), recharge to 100%, note how many kWh it takes to "fill" the battery. Yes, I am a she and an engineer who loves to figure it out! That’s why I like our Rivian. You have to really engage with this vehicle. So many opportunities for calculations.
Whoa, that's almost as bad as my 90kwh Tesla with 200k miles.....
So clearly there's something up with your battery... Too bad we can't peak inside and see what the current capacity or SOH% is... OH WAIT.
I kind of agree. You are asking for help but refuse to give the data everyone is asking for. Help US help YOU.Direct quote
Yes, read and follow through with the suggestions you continually refuse to take. You keep posting information that you already stated. It is obvious people believe you.
You are wise to go to the service center. I have experience few month ago on my Tesla an unbalance battery cell issue with our battery that limit the charging to 37%. Finally they changed the complete battery that was 34 month old. So it is important that the service center test your battery…. Good lockOur battery capacity has dropped in half as measure in miles at full charge in all drive modes on our R1S. Purchased in Aug 2023. Last 5 numbers of VIN 13736. Large Pack battery. Quad motor. So battery capacity is nominally 125 kw. We have all recent vehicle updates complete.
We noticed the problem since about Feb 10 in around town driving. We had to home charge each night instead of every couple days.
Now we are on a road trip with good weather (50-70 degree F), no wind and pretty flat on Interstate 90 from SD to IL. Going 65 mph. After 810 miles of driving our Trip A records 2.23 mi/kw in Conserve mode. This should translate to around 275 miles of full battery range (which we have achieved in similar conditions on past trips).
But, we get only 150 miles when we charge the battery to full amount. We switched to All Purpose for about 50 miles and didn’t see any difference. So we are stopping every 120 miles to charge up to 70-85% which gives us only around 125 miles range.
We called Service and tried to reset History on Energy screen tab, soft reset, hard reset and sleep cycle of 5 hours. Still have the problem. We do have an appointment with Cincinnati Service Centwr on March 5.
So basically getting good efficiency but limited range. Any help or suggestions our there??
