Steering wheel bezel? scratched

I don't presume the bezel or whatever it would be called is a replaceable part on its own? Anyone know?

Picked my R1S Tri up Saturday. Noticed the next day it has a ~1" scratch and another little chip a few inches from that. Can't imagine how I would have done it in such little time. I don't wear jewelry, have long fingernails, etc.

Unfortunately I didn't notice if it was there at delivery time. Fairly dark inside the vehicle, inside the service center.

While a very minor issue on such a main touchpoint and visually right in front of me now I can stop looking at it. Makes me a little sick on a brand new expensive vehicle to have such a nice interior part messed up in less than 24 hours (or perhaps was already that way and didn't notice on delivery).

Submit a ticket in the app to document it and I’m sure they’ll give you a new steering wheel. Might take a few months but they’ll take care of you

Yeah I should probably give that a try. Don't want to grift them in case I somehow did it. Just can't imagine how I did after such a short time in the vehicle. Only drove it home that day and noticed it the next day when I hopped in to leave home.

Did you take one from the shop? If it was, how long ago did you pick it? My Tri is still in processing going on the second week.

Custom order on June 8th. Came in last Saturday. Seattle service center.

Had a custom order but took one from the shop and had my order applied. It was a little over 2 weeks before my steps opened up and I could have taken delivery last week but I was out of town.

I think it is more of a quality issue with the finish. I've owned my Tri Max for 4 days - on delivery I noticed chips in the bronze trim on the headrest. Now day 4 and I'm noticing the trim on the driver door(same material/coating) is already chipped in two places - it was not on delivery.
