Spare bolt dimensions

Could not wait for spare any longer. Had 20” spare made for R1T with EVSportline rim and Pirelli tire. Also got separate Jack and puck. Now rigging up storage of tire in bed. With no spare it has the short bolt that screwed down the plastic “T” Rivian had to but in there to keep children out. I need to make up a longer rod or buy longer bolt of same thread dimension. Been waiting 3 days for Rivian to tell me. Anyone know before I travel to hardware or shop to get someone to measure? Picture attached. Thanks.

To follow yes I will flip tire. Current bolt length is about 1-3/4. Need 4” min bolt. I also bought a neoprene stopper of sufficient diameter (see pic) for center of wheel opening that I can just drill through center and use to tighten down.

I'll be following as I had to build my own spare (used a 20" RAM wheel) and jack/lug wrench kit.

Not the Op.. .but metric bolt diameter needed (ie M10, etc..).

Took the OEM bolt to Home Depot and matched it to some longer stock they had.

I had my spare tire mounted on the RAM wheel today, the jack kit & puck is on the way, already have the 22mm lug wrench.. so the hold down hardware should be the last parts required to fill out the spare tire kit that Rivian removed from my order.

Just a guess based on dims provided in this thread! Should work.

if that stud doesn’t work just get a piece of ready rod in the right threading and cut to size.

1 - #11 Neoprene Rubber stopper (WidgetCo)
1 - 2” Fender washer
1 - M10 washer
1 - M10-1.5 x 100mm bolt (got an 8.8 at Lowe’s but found a 10.9 online and will replace in few days once I get just to stick with spec even though this is probably fine).

Just wanted to say thank so much for this thread. I used it to guide my process of building a spare kit. Grabbed one of @EV Sportline used spare tires that matches my stock tires. Followed your list above, and I found all the hardware at my local Ace Hardware, including the stopper!
