Still doesn't let my son sit in the back seat. I hate that apparently the people who design these things don't account for people who have both kids and dogs.

Kurgo has some options that do account for that. They've got a half-width hammock with a middle "wall" and a hammock with a zipper that allows you to lower one half so someone can sit there.

I actually have the Kurgo half-hammock. I was just kind of excited about this solid floor option.

Well I did pull the trigger on the Dog Seat Cover Amazon Link, I have bigger dogs took them all for a ride and went great. Very solid platform and folds up nicely. The picture is my 40# female she was the only one that would stay still long enough to take the photo. Second row of my R1S.

I just got this one delivered today. Fits the R1T back seat very well. I like the fit the best of any I've had. I would only give it a medium grade on durability, not as heavy duty as I would like but we will see how it goes.

Does anyone have recommendations for "securing" pups with these types of hammocks? Some have passthru to buckle in, this does not. Looking at you @COdogman

Congratulations on welcoming your new overlord into the family! There is nothing better than being owned by a dog.

If there are no pass throughs you can use one of these “zip line” style tethers, which are actually pretty great because it’s less likely they will get tangled up while moving around. They aren’t the best looking, but they are very useful. This one could easily be chewed through, but I’ve seen some that are made with vinyl coated braided cable.

If you don’t like that you can try one that loops around a headrest. Also a good option, although I would not trust it with a really strong dog. Also could be chewed through if you have one of those crafty escape artists.

Dougie Fresh recommends this one! He slides around a little and learned to lay down in the turns pretty quick. To my surprise, it has Velcro passthrus for the buckle and came with a seat belt clip! We didn't use it today, but will moving forward.

I’m just curious if anyone else has tried this. I like that it has a solid floor for you dogs but they don’t show any dimensions. It just says it’ll fit any vehicle, which is BS. If it fits in my Rivian, it’s going to be too big for my Mini. I’m not very trusting of this so I’m hoping there is an alternative out there that has the same kind of floor.

I picked this up for $60 for the R1T, left the first I had in the wife's Rav4, it fits better there and this in my truck. I got tired of moving it back and forth 4 times a week.
