    Here is a picture of the step ladder …. It’s also god for getting easy access to the roof and the center of the hood …. And as mentioned above it fits in the gear tunnel. edit: the truck is at Standard height in the picture …. So could be lowered more.

    We put one of these in our gear tunnel and take it out to let our two dogs (45lbs and 80lbs) jump into and out of the back seat (with dog hammock).     FYI - This was happening to me and it turned out the antenna wire was disconnected from the faceplate. Might be worth a check.
