Socket recommendation for wheel removal?

I typically use my Milwaukee M12 Impact with a deep Cr-Mo impact socket on my older cars. I've never used the aluminum sockets or the torque sockets before, but hear that they do the least amount of damage to the lugs. I really don't want to mar the finish on the lugs or wheel face. Any helpful suggestions or recommendation on a preferred socket to use? I'm coming up on the 5000 mile mark and planning to rotate tires soon.

I bought this, which has the outer nylon sleeve to protect the wheel.

Rigor brand all day long. Its one of the slimmest and the protective sleeve is all one piece compared to the other brands where it slips off and it's a thicker sleeve.
