SMS Order Updates

Anyone know when the SMS Order Updates got added to messaging preferences? I just happened to notice this today. Probably been there for months without me noticing. I usually only check my account for a Guide assignment or test drive opportunity.

I received a text from Rivian on 5/16 saying they would be using that number to provide alerts, so I'm guessing it was around then. I haven't received any further messages since then, however.

It’s new to my account as of today and was not there yesterday.

Ahh right, makes sense. That little change was enough to give me the flutters because I was like 'omg omg new icon something is happening!'. Sigh.

It was not there a couple of weeks ago, I was missing general emails and went in to verify the email setting was correct.

It is interesting that it defaults to on but has an I agree to the term’s clause associated with it.

The picture doesn't reflect the default setting which was not enabled. I enabled for my account.
