The windows on our R1T are really slow to roll down. Slowest of any car we currently own, by far.

I've read others have noticed this so I'm assuming it's the same for most R1Ts.

I find it somewhat annoying. Something that I have not run across until now, seems like a needless PITA.

Any guesses if this is a mechanical limitation or software limitation?

Same here. Interesting thing is that, for me, it is quite a bit faster if I roll them up/down manually i.e. hit the first notch.

Unfortunately thatā€™s probably a mechanical issue. Itā€™s unlikely there is software regulating the current to the motor making it slower than what weā€™re used to. Hope Iā€™m wrong though!

I 100% believe this is a software-correctable problem based on my comment above.

It my be a hardware thing in the switch - first detent is speed 1, all the way is slower speed 2. Automatic closing windows generally go slower. A pinch protection thing

Iā€™m still hoping Iā€™m completely wrong, but why would they regulate it like that? Crashmtb might be correct with the problem being in the switch itself. Do the other windows have the same issue? From the drivers door master switch and from the other door switches themselves?

I noticed that as well, windows are extremely slow going down. Hopefully just a software issue because itā€™s painfully slow at this point

My Raptor and the wife's Audi have auto down and they aren't nearly this slow.

I have the same issue, and a bonus issue where the passenger rear window won't auto up no matter what i do. Yes, i've tried the reset procedure multiple times.

Mine are the same too, quite slow. Albeit slightly faster than my Nissan Leaf's windows, so maybe its an EV thing?

When I talked with Support a while back about windows not going auto up/down, they said depending on the software the sequence is different, so if you haven't already it might be worth calling the service number to see if there is an updated sequence to have the limits of the windows re-calibrated.

Almost sounds like the switch is programmed backwards. I would have expected manual mode (the first notch) to be slower and then auto down (full press) to go more quickly.

0:00'05.96 up and down when manually holding at the first notch and 0:00'10.43 when using "Expess Open"...

This is a complete up/down cycle.

10 seconds for a complete up/down cycle isn't Bolt fast (hah!) but it's not terribly slow either. Unless I'm misunderstanding, and it's 10 seconds per up and another 10 seconds per down?
