I like ABRP but last time I tried planning a trip with it they ignored RAN stations. All my R1T info is in ABRP, is there a way to use RANs when planning a trip?

Announcing our new "CLUBS" section where you can join or create a Rivian club or group! You can use this new feature to conveniently plan and discuss local events, gatherings or other club/group related topics.
So we encourage you to join (or start) special-interest and regional-based Rivian clubs at: https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/group-categories/clubs-groups.1/
You could mark RAN as preferred charging network.I like ABRP but last time I tried planning a trip with it they ignored RAN stations. All my R1T info is in ABRP, is there a way to use RANs when planning a trip?
That’s true for last mile delivery (current Amazon usage), but not for long haul. As more long haul electric comes to fruition, I’d think these algorithms have value. Not really. Almost nothing of ABRPs algorithm would apply to delivery routes.
Pretty much the only overlap would be consumption based on weather.
Thanks! I knew you could tell it to reject bad chargers, but didn't realize you could tell it your preferred networks. Just gave RAN the double-thumbs-up.You could mark RAN as preferred charging network.
Does this actually work? I ask because if you route a trip on Google maps and share to the Rivian, it sends the destination only (with the vehicle nav then routes)....not the Google Map routing (unless that has very recently changed). So for anyone who doesn't already know. You can build a route in ABRP share to google maps then share to the Rivian. I love this feature.
Are you sure about that? At least up to "recently", mapping a route via google maps and sharing to the Rivian only actually "shared" the destination, which the Rivian then routed internally......The entire route and stops.
I did that and ended up with bad results. 2 thumbs up seems to skew too much. I recommend only giving 1 thumb up. ABRP will know that it can use RANs.Thanks! I knew you could tell it to reject bad chargers, but didn't realize you could tell it your preferred networks. Just gave RAN the double-thumbs-up.
* In my experience, yes; sort of. Sharing a Google trip to my Rivian not only shared the trip, but the alternate route shown in Google maps. Switching between the two routes however was very clunky.Does this actually work?
