I hope the R2 will be available in Launch Green. That would look pretty cool IMO.

I think that’s honestly why the R3 and especially the R3X stole the show. They had interesting colors. The R3 is painted in a color called Permafrost, which is like a grayish-green and the R3X is a deep teal color (official name?) with the orangish-red side view mirror caps.

Making more pre-production prototypes and applying Rivian’s new color pallet sounds like an amazing idea to keep the hype train rolling until 2026.

Hoping that Rivian will simultaneously launch the R2 in Canada and the US so I can exercise my reservation option in 2026.

Ah thx. I did see in an Out of Spec video that RJ indicated they might change the location to driver's side rear which would be important.
