I think the Amazon delivery vehicle will help speed along the self driving. They're logging a lot of miles daily and in all kinds of neighborhoods. I would think they're mapping way more than the average Rivian driver does.

R2 actually has no ultrasonic sensors. I know the owner's guide mentions them as being disabled in trailer mode, but they don't exist. Radar and cameras only on the current vehicles.

The radars are upgraded though for dual mode radar to offset the loss of the ultrasonics.
