I work in the city. Can confirm that the old La Grand Ind. Supply Co site at 2620 SW 1st is now being repurposed for the R1 series and beyond. Loving the short work you're making of this block!

Made a few visits as I do. R1 models are being catalogued, detailed, and inventoried during the simultaneous remodel of the La Grand site. The newer models and their frames have arrived! A few things still yet to come in from the Normal, IL site but otherwise most of the bones are being kept. Appears that the location is meant to serve downtown, Old Town, S Waterfront & Goose.

Looks like it'll be real clean once it's done. Shouldn't be more than a few months out.

This service center is up and running. I received a call this week to move my service appointment from the Tualatin location to the Portland location.

It seems that the plan for a Redmond, WA service center has been cancelled. Permits were withdrawn and as of just a few weeks ago, Rivian removed the "coming soon" from their map for this location. Not sure how they plan to deal with things on Seattle's Eastside, the Bellevue SC is just overwhelmed and while the new Seattle SC will help... it don't see it solving the eastside issues.

According to this user generated map, there looks like a planned Service Center in Eastvale, CA. That will definitely help offload Costa Mesa … much closer to me! Wish the timing was known.

Work has been going on at the new Sparks NV location for several weeks. Guessing it's still many months away from opening. Sparks + Reno seem to have a high number of Rivians so this will be very good not to have to travel to CA for service.

Picked up my R1S in Ft. Wayne on 9-20. They are open for deliveries and mobile service only at this point. They need to hire a service manager and more techs before they can be a fully operational service center. The delivery specialist thought it would likely be a couple months before they are up and running. Apparently, they were only supposed to be a "micro" service center but due to demand they are going to expand the operations there.

I wonder if they re-homed Ralph (Indiana Mobile Tech) there....he was based out of Cincinnati before technically.
