After the update to 1.5.0 (iOS) my spouse found herself logged out of the app after she walked away from the truck for a bit during a trip. She luckily had a keycard in her wallet and was able to get back in despite the phone key being disabled. She doesn't always take the wallet with her during stops, though, so this could have been much worse. It doesn't inspire confidence.

Why didn't she just log back in?

And just how is that supposed to work if there's no cell service? There are data service dropouts and total dead zones all over this area (including where she was located). Cell service is even worse if we're out on an "adventure." We can't depend on being able to log back in during a trip if the app logs us out.

Friend, a simple "Logging back in wouldn't have worked for my use case" would suffice. Rivian is going to have bugs and miss steps likely far worse than this, its part of the early adopter game we all signed up for. The other side of the coin is being able to provide feedback that *hopefully* makes it into software down the road.
