I’ve got an RFID garage tag for my office parking garage that was designed to hang off the rear view mirror. Well - you can’t hook anything over the Rivian mirror, so I’ve been keeping it in my console and have to pull it out multiple times per day (in addition to entry office floors have second gate). Anyone come up with a solution to mount one of these?

Thx!

Lodge it between the leading edge of the headliner and the windshield?
tape it to the back of the mirror?

Sounds funny but can you tape it under your hood? Will it read it? Through the hood?

I’ve just been keeping my rfid parking garage tag in my center console and waving it around when I get to or leave work. honestly this is what I did with previous vehicles, too…. I don’t want a giant thing hanging from my rear view mirror.

It’s fairly big is why I haven simply taped it up beside/under the mirror. It also has to be in a certain area like a toll tag, don’t think in the frunk would work. May try one of these machines (KeyMe Kiosk) that is supposed to copy RFID cards to fobs or stickers … just don’t know how strong the signal will be. I’ll report back, but other ideas welcome. I’m in the waving camp too until then -

3M Dual Lock "velcro" - I have used this for a number of purposes, it works well. This way you can remove the RFID tag if/when you want. This is how my EZ pass is mounted.

I Would hang it on the hook behind the driver or passanger headrest and forget about it. Out of sight.
