When I was at the Minneapolis SC just to look at the R1S' on the lot, one of the employees took us out for a drive in the test R1T when I told him I hadn't had my test yet. He let me know that they were supposed to have an R1S for first miles a month ago or so, but it got delayed.

I just showed up. I've swung by the lot a few times to check out vehicles. I wanted to show my fiancé the R1S.

Hey all - anyone else receive invites? I received an invite last night for an R1s first mile drive. I am a longtime preorder LE r1s from early-mid 2019. When I opened there were only a handful of drives on one day, so I promptly booked. In metro NY Long Island area.

A friend of mine who ordered I think in spring 2020 and lives in rural North Carolina got an invite. She ordered the R1S after hearing about my order. The closest service center to her house is in Atlanta, GA, 2-3 hours of driving.

I ordered in October 2019, and I timed the drive from the Memphis service center to my house yesterday--11 minutes.
