I have had I believe three incidence where the frunk has opened itself while I was away from the truck. I thought maybe I was doing something, but now I am convinced it is happening on its own.

Anybody else seem to fund their truck with the frunk open when they return from somewhere and it shouldn't have been open?

No but I did randomly have phantom tailgate opening for a few days. I notified Rivian it was happening then the next day it opened while parked in my garage. My wife opened garage door and it scratched the hell out of the tailgate. I give credit to Rivian though they took my word for it and agreed to repaint it at no charge. Service didn’t really have an explanation as to what was causing it. Thankfully haven’t had it happen since after 2-3 months. Maybe try hard reset.

I did try the hard reset just a little bit ago. Will see if that stops it. Twice it happened in my garage and then once in a parking lot. Luckily not in rain at all.

Glad they fixed your tailgate. We had a SUV a while back and someone failed to pull it into garage far enough and closed door. A hinge sliced the bumper. That sucked....

I had this happen several times in one day, and then never again. I haven’t rushed to get it serviced because it didn’t reoccur, but Rivian thought the key fob, 12v harness, or hood latch was was the culprit. My bet is the key fob, which I rarely use. Mobile service is coming next week for a few minor things and is going to investigate.
