Anyone pass by Groveland on their way to Yosemite lately? It was announced 18 months ago.

It sure would have been stupid for Rivian to order all the parts for 600 sites back in 2021 before they even started shipping vehicles or proved the design in the real world with real Rivian vehicles ... It's a bootstrap process, and it's been proceeding slowly but surely since the first RAN installed in Salida, CO in 2022 (19 months ago, and only 3 months after they started volume shipments of R1T to customers). The NEVI and the NACS has complicated things, but the 600 planned sites are still coming as reiterated many times since last year's NACS announcement.Well good job Rivian said in late 2021 that 3600 chargers at 600 were planned by end of 2023 - so the orders could have been made years ago.
Exciting! The Gallup station would help access Chaco Canyon.Gallup, NM

No one disorder them all in 2021 but when putting an order off for the first batch you give the vendor your plans for the next few years so they can make sure demand is factored in. Hitting 10% of the estimate (post COVID) is poor.It sure would have been stupid for Rivian to order all the parts for 600 sites back in 2021 before they even started shipping vehicles or proved the design in the real world with real Rivian vehicles ... The next meeting for the RAN station in Hailey, Idaho (Sun Valley) is tonight. When looking at the meeting minutes, the document references "RAN 1.5 CCS Dispenser Product." The cable looks longer and the screen is on the side.
The full planning doc is here, the Rivian provided documents start on page 50 with the new dispenser on page 51: https://haileycityhall.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/February-20-2024-1.pdf

Nice find! Looks like the electrical specs are the same as before. 300kW power cabinet shared by up to 3 charging pedestals. They’re built off a 50kW module, and there are 6 of those per cabinet. Hopefully most locations will be 2 pedestals per cabinet, but they’ve been doing a mix of 2 or 3.The next meeting for the RAN station in Hailey, Idaho (Sun Valley) is tonight. I think it's great these chargers are proposed in Hailey. However, the location shouldn't be allowed along main street. Creates a hole in the urban fabric preventing a building facade along the street. The next meeting for the RAN station in Hailey, Idaho (Sun Valley) is tonight.
