He may have to make some tweaks. The bottom of my R2 lift point is slightly different from his earlier pictures.

Apologies - I read through the entire thread and I'm confused. Are jack pucks necessary for the R2, or does the new design make them optional? Will there be an R2-specific jack puck from Mark, and what is the expectation for the release date? I will need to get a new R2 lifted during an inspection. Thanks, and apologies again for asking questions that might have already been answered. P.S. I have the jack pucks for the R1 and have been super happy with the quality.

It depends on your equipment. Your jack may interface with the R2 location. Additionally, the R2 comes with one rubber (plastic?) insert you can place to lift at least one point if your jack requires it.

Personally, I'd like to buy a nicer set or at least have 2 so I can lift from two places simultaneously as I don't think either of my jacks will interface with the lift point unless I have one of the bumpers/inserts in place.

I did a trial of lifting my R2 with a Husky floor jack. No pucks required. See this thread, near the end of the original post;

So we don’t need any adapter? Just use the floor jack “puck” top as is?

With the floor jack I have (Husky for home depot) it fit the pad on the frame nicely. No extra pad or pug needed.

When I take my R2 for Massachusetts annual inspection they raise the front of the car. If I am provided with a pad that fits in the lift area on one side, where can I get a pad for the other side? Is Mark working on one, or will Rivian sell me an extra? Please correct me if I’m misunderstanding.

Does anyone have the measurements between jack points? Both front to back and side to side if possible.
