I think Fisker needed to show Magna they had customers ready to purchase and that's why they did the $5,000 deposit on the One. The Ultra and Sport trims have a much more reasonable deposit and should still start production before the Polestar 3. I was super late in line for the Ocean but if they can stick to their timeline, I should have it by May-ish next year.I'm very interested in the Blazer, too, especially since I may be able to get employee pricing (word still out if it qualifies on the Blazer), but passed on the Ocean. I just wasn't ready to pull the trigger when they wanted, and they seemed almost too hungry for the deposits.
I'll probably get the Blazer as a comparison vehicle, but anticipate not wanting to keep it for a long time because it won't be as nice as the other options. I found the WTF mode for the Hummer pretty dumb and gimmicky and I imagine having to do the same thing with the Blazer to get the full performance is going to piss me off. Why can't I just stab the throttle and go?
