No steering wheel lights

Was driving my R1T and needed to use the scroll wheel and the buttons to the sides and tried to find out where to turn on the steering wheel back light. I'm I missing something or is there no small lights to show the placement of the scroll wheel? Would be a nice addition. Do you think Rivian should include this or do people get used to fumbling around in the dark..lol.

Any vehicle I’ve had with illumined steering wheel controls has backlights for the white printing on the controls: symbols, letters, etc. Since there is nothing printed on the Rivian steering wheel controls I guess Rivian decided there was no need to add lighting.

What I would like would be a little strip of LCD or OLED just above the buttons and scroll wheel on each side which labeled what they are controlling at that moment. Then it would be easy to find the controls because they’d be just below the illuminated labels. A less expensive option would be labels in the lower corners of the driver’s display and then, yes, backlighting the outlines of the controls would be nice.

No lights. I don't find them particularly hard to locate with the bumpy scroll wheel in the center.

To each his own, but I don’t think lights here are necessary. I like the clean design of the steering wheel as it is.

No. No need. They are easy to find and easy to use.

It doesn’t need lights. It’s 2 scroll wheels and a left and a right button next to each one. Lights are unnecessary and therefore were left out.
