Let’s gooooooo! (After I wait 5 days to get the update…lol.)
brb, going off to hit all my local Tesla Superchargers while already at 90% charge to lower their score. Here’s how the new charging score works:
When a Rivian owner plugs into a fast charger on any network, including Tesla Superchargers, the vehicle will collect relevant data such as average top speed, payment success, and overall session success. When enough owners have visited a select fast charger, Rivian will dynamically assign that site a reliability score from A (highest) to F (lowest).
Do we also need to do ^this^ after doing that?Do we need to do this with EVERY update?
Yes.Do we also need to do ^this^ after doing that?
Hopefully Rivian was smart enough to include Max speed as well as Max requested speed speed in the data it is collecting.brb, going off to hit all my local Tesla Superchargers while already at 90% charge to lower their score.
Based on the interview it sounds like there's a good chance. I'm still not confident they'd be able to tell the difference between an intentionally interrupted charging session and one driven by the station having issues. I suppose if you make multiple attempts and continue having failures, it'd be weighted that way.Hopefully Rivian was smart enough to consider include Max speed as well as Max requested speed speed in the data it is collecting.
