Yeah will do. Have a service request open so I’ll add that for sureThat recording will be helpful - hopefully you can get it.
Don't hesitate to open up a service request with Rivian as well - if you can get the recording made, you should be able to upload it as part of the request process.
when turning the steering wheel? If so, thats a known thing. A spring or something in there dragging.I had it fixed once and it came back pretty quickly on the replacement.Hearing a “crackling” sound near the drivers display. This type of thing normal in the R1T or is that something that requires service? Thnx
Appreciate the feedbackNot normal. Too many possible causes. Could be objects in air duct that shouldn’t be there. Could be a speaker shorting out. Service ticket. Document it the best you can so its presence is indisputable and submit evidence with service request.

I also seem to have one in the left air vent only when AC is on (like a leaf fluttering in there). Goes away when heat is on. Chasing rattles are the joy of having a R1!![]()
Is this the sound? Service says it’s normal but if this is normal I call it a design flaw.when turning the steering wheel? If so, thats a known thing. A spring or something in there dragging.I had it fixed once and it came back pretty quickly on the replacement.

No. What you have sounds more like the air compressor running for the suspension which is “normal” unless running excessively. Is this the sound? Service says it’s normal but if this is normal I call it a design flaw.
It runs for 10-20 minutes every time the truck wakes up.The compressor for the suspension will run at start up - particularly if sitting long or using kneel mode.just be sure it’s not running constantly and nothing loose.
I do use kneel modeNo. What you have sounds more like the air compressor running for the suspension which is “normal” unless running excessively.
is it really from the front or just how you’re hearing it? The compressor sound should be coming from the rear. Do you use kneel mode?
