My R1T is doing the Carolina squat (front suspension wouldn't lower, but fixed itself)

I had a leak in my front tire, so I decided to swap out the spare so I could drop the bad one off to get looked at.

Followed the procedure exactly, got the tires changed, and then went to take the truck out of Off Road Highest and only the back end will drop. Tried several different drive modes and heights, as well as going back into and out of tire change mode.

Eventually, called service and they had me do a vehicle reset to no avail. So, now waiting for a call back to see what's what.

And here I was hoping I'd be a lucky one with no issues

I put the truck on high and decided to see if driving it a bit would fix the issue. Turns out it did, almost immediately the truck leveled itself out - not sure why it wouldn't do that in the driveway.

My delivery person mentioned that height changes go much more smoothly when you drive, even if it’s not far. Definitely was the case when I went to highest to try it out.

First year manufacturer woes.

The air suspension is rather complex with computers, actuators, hydraulics, pumps, hoses, etc. I‘m afraid issues will be costly to repair after the factory warranty expires.

How much driving did it take?

You are lucky this didn’t happened after a blowout a thousand mile away from home in boonies with no cell service. It looks like having a full size spare won’t give me the peace of mind I was hoping for.
