Drive by this morning and no R1Ts to be seen but did notice 3 Clipper Creek chargers on the property

I wonder why they aren't using the Rivian branded chargers? Do they not exist yet? If not, does adding a charger to your order delay your delivery until they figure out how to make the charger?

I went by Saturday afternoon. No Rivians in site, no other changes noted.

Good to know, thanks for sharing. I had seen a few pictures posted of the inside of the building back when heavy vehicle lifts were being installed. The company installing the lifts made the comment that the facility was for handling the Amazon delivery fleet. So was a bit uncertain if this site would also be for customers and R1's or strictly fleet operations. A guest lounge certainly seems to suggest the site would be for R1 customers as well.

Looks like a Minnesota license plate. I hope I see this one on the roads of Minnesota or better yet a test drive

I spoke with CS yesterday and they said the chargers and car ship separately from a third party vendor. I asked if clipper creek or Rivian branded and she didn’t have any specific information

Greetings from Stillwater MN,
I placed my R1T Reservation in Feb 2019 - so just over 3 yrs ago. Scheduled for a April/May delivery - which would be ideal (if actually happens then) as I would not want to get a new vehicle in the March snow salt slop that is coming next month. Still wonder if I should have gone with a R1S - but we have two other SUV's in family - so mix it up with an open bed for the times I need to haul something large.

Great to see SLP service center up and running.

Anybody else having concerns about the Rivian being able to properly heat the cabin given our crazy cold winters here? Saying it’s a concern is probably too strong - rather I look forward to hearing validation that its HvAc system has no issues dealing with our temps.
I remember reading that Rivian is using a different approach to heating then say Tesla. Gotta believe they have it figured out.

Go to the Rivian website, in the stories there is a write up on some extremely cold weather testing they did might address some of your concerns.

I live in the Mahtomedi/White Bear Lake area and have had 3 people tell me there has been a green (Launch green) R1T in and around downtown White Bear. It will be fun to start seeing more trucks/SUVs. I have a LE R1S with a window of July-Sept.
