Anyone having problems getting the 21 inch road wheels with the standard machined aluminum wheels? The 20 inch AT tires are $1,800 upgrade. and I don't foresee myself off-roading.

I am curious if there is a problem getting out trucks with the 21" road wheels. Anyone seen a pattern of all-terrain wheels being the majority of the deliveries??
I am getting mine delivered saturday... standard 21"

Apologies if this has already been asked, but has anyone successfully put a stroller in the frunk? Bonus points if its a Chico Tree or Chico Bravo.

the rails along the bed cannot hold my 160lbs. They look sturdy and anti-slip, but as I stepped there I heard a crack. Upon inspection, they definitely are not weight-bearing. Cool.

I tried to record video, but the lightning was terrible and I shake too much. You can use it to blow stuff off, but I recommend using your own chuck as the end in the kit throws out 6-9psi. My chuck gave me 13-16psi.

You have to hold down the chuck the entire time for the compressor to keep running and blow things out. Otherwise, it'll shut off when it hits the psi you set. Using my chuck, it worked well enough.

I love answering these questions, I always learn something new about the truck. This time, I learned while the gear tunnel door can hold 300lbs, the rails along the bed cannot hold my 160lbs. They look sturdy and anti-slip, but as I stepped there I heard a crack. Upon inspection, they definitely are not weight-bearing. Cool.

And then there's the air compressor max PSI. I didn't test it, but I wonder now if this will cause it to keep running...

Anyone get their first door ding yet? Are these going to be prone to dings like my old Hondas which seemed to ding from just looking at them? Or will they hold up better like my Volvos and BMW which have never really had issues with dings?

Are the side windows single or double-paned? If you look at the edge of the glass you should be able to tell.

Sorry if this has been asked before :)

Two questions:

1. For those who had EVs before the R1T: any regrets on not going with the max pack? My experience with Teslas with the mid-200s ranges made me opt for the biggest pack available. However, I know at some point it doesn't really make a difference. If chargers are 150 miles apart, it doesn't matter if you have 100 extra miles available in the battery pack, you have to make the same number of stops.

2. Anyone had any experience putting a motorcycle in the bed? I'm concerned with (a) clearance from the back wheel of the bike to the edge of the tailgate with it folded down, and (b) the wear and tear on the bed of the truck with 600 lbs concentrated right down the center. I know the R1T bed is rated for around 1,000 lbs, but they like to depend on technicalities for those numbers sometimes.
I haven't taken the Rivian on an extended trip yet, but anticipate the Large pack being fine. Max pack will just increase the flexibility on the trip.

Still waiting on my Livewire One to get delivered, but this is hopefully going to be my solution. Not sure if I'll ever try to put it in the bed.

They flex a little under my weight in certain spots, but didn't seem to get damaged by stepping on them. Maybe I'll pop them off and see what's happening under them.

Thanks! Hauling a motorcycle has always been my #1 reason for getting a truck, so if I can't get my Energica into the bed I might as well stick with my current setup until something bigger comes along.

Finding mixed answers online :

Is there any form of Lane Keep Assist and/or centering that works on roads outside of those mapped for Driver+?

Am I right in assuming that adaptive cruise can be used on any road as well?

Thanks

i Haven’t tested lane departure to see if it just warns or tries to steer back into the lane, but the truck isn’t actively centering without d+, I would still bemaintaining lane. If I get a safe chance, I’ll try to turn that system on and try. Edit: it just yelled at me and flashed red

yes, have used adaptive Cruise on any road

Thanks
